When Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were at church together in Hamburg they realized there was no going back. Ashley was 17 years old and was never in any kind of relationship, and so went through everything slowly. It was, however, love at the first sight. Andrew asked God on New Year's Eve, right prior to the start of 2016. He requested God to grant him one last blessing for the year to see Ashley say yes and get married. Ashley wanted to design a wedding with a folk woodsy theme, which would truly represent her as well as Andrew. To create their perfect wedding, the couple chose to incorporate elements of everything they love. Ashley was raised in a 40-acre farm. Ashley enjoyed playing and exploring throughout the entire land, even the trails they had walked in order to reach it. Andrew, Ashley and their acquaintances had walked through the field several times before they started to get together. Personalization was key since they did a lot of it by themselves. Andrew, Ashley's dad and Ashley themselves made all the decorations. Ashley also painted and designed a number of decors. Ashley states that she would have been disappointed if Anna her florist from Magnolia Belle Floral hadn't done her amazing floral work for us, the wedding might not have had the magical feeling I hoped it would. The work is simply stunning.
